Twas the night before Christmas,
And all through the home,
Only one creature was stirring,
A late night scrapper alone.
While she cropped and she trimmed,
Under her breath she was muttering,
"He hid my darn Herma fix!"
The poor wife was shuttering!
When out on the lawn
There arose such a clatter,
She sprang from her table,
And dropped her Magic Matter.
Away to the window
She flew like a flash,
Thinking maybe it was UPS
Bringing more for her stash!
But what to her wondering eyes
Should appear,
But a miniature (die cut) sleigh
And 8 (punchie) reindeer!
With a little old driver
So lively and quick
She knew right away
It was Jolee old St. Nick.
He carried a sack
Filled up to the brim,
With paper packs, cardstock,
And templates crammed in.
There were punches, and stickers
And eyelets galore,
There was even a Cricut font
Not yet in the stores!
He went quickly to work,
Stowing it all under her tree,
The wire, the fibers,
And all Acid Free!
"Those Whale Punches are heavy!"
She heard him exclaim,
Then he turned to his reindeer
And called them by name:
"On Buyer and Stasher,
Puncher and Cropper.
On Scrapper, on Matter,
On Trimmer and Cutter."
And hesprang to his sleigh
But before he could leave,
The woman yelled, "STOP!"
And pulled a camera from her sleeve.
She snapped some quick photos
For future keepsake,
Thinking all the while,
Of the layout she'd make!
And she heard him exclaim.
When she fimally let him go,
"Happy Scrapping to All"
And to all, "HO HO HO!"

Such a sweet boy!
So K. lost her 3rd tooth today...in the car. This is the 2nd time she has pulled out a tooth while in the car. The last time she pulled it out in the car she dropped it, but we were able to find the tooth (after pulling out the car seat and sifting through the unnamed petrified food found behind it). Today we were not so lucky. She lost her tooth...and then lost the tooth.
Not to worry, I assured her that we could write a letter to the tooth fairy and she would understand.
Here is what she wrote:
"Dear Tooth Fairy. I lost my tooth, but I lost it in the car so I wish you still come."
Bless C.'s heart, he took matters into his own hands and emptied his piggy bank ( $3.22) and stuck it under her pillow with his own note and a peice of chocolate his teacher gave him earlier today:
"To: K.
From: Flossy ( The Tooth Fairy)
Dear K.,
I understand how your feel. Lots of people of different kinds have lost their teeth in the car and then lost it. Do you want to know something? About 100 people lost thier tooth in the car and then lost it. But, I still give them stuff. Including a chocolate as you can see!
Love the Tooth Fairy"
This just says so much about the fine young boy that C. is.
(Yes, I confiscated both notes, and there will be a scrapbook LO about this one! I took pictures to boot!)

This years Christmas picture

I loved the way Christopher and Katelyn looked standing out in front of IT's A SMALL WORLD. Did a bit of photoshop magic and came up with this years Christmas picture.
I am pleased with it.
As a side note, Christopher's two front teeth have been loose since September 2oo6. You would think the silly things would come out.
No "All I want for Christmas is my 2 front teeth" pictures for me. Darn!!!
Merry Christmas everyone,
Julia

I think I will give it a go...
I met Pauline at a crop I hosted last week. She told us that she uses her BLOG to keep track of the number of Layouts she completes in a year.
I know I do quite a few LO every year, but have never kept track of it...I think her idea is great and I want to try it.
So next year, I will start posting pictures of the LO I do.
Swaps count when the swap LO is done with my pictures and my journaling...I can't wait to see if I can actually keep up with the comitment of posting.
Cross your fingers!
Becky...wanna play too??
